The New Public Records Law

On June 3, 2016, the Legislature enacted, “An Act to Improve Public Records”, Chapter 121 of the Acts of 2016, Chapter 121, which became effective on January 1, 2017, made significant changes to the Public Records Law.  As a result, housing authorities and public entities throughout the state will need to adjust their public records practices.  This seminar will cover the changes to the Public Records Law, and provide you with information to implement changes to your current public records practices, which will help you avoid potential fines and punitive damages.

Along with an in-depth training in the new law, helpful written handouts will be provided.
