7 LHAS AWARDED $23 MILLION FOR SENIOR UNIT REHAB

On December 19, the Baker-Polito Administration announced $23 million in state funding to seven Massachusetts local housing authorities to preserve and enhance 413 public housing units and improve the lives of senior residents.

 

The Modernizing Public Housing and Supporting Elders (ModPHASE) program provides grants for major rehabilitation projects as well as improve and expand supportive services to senior residents. The Department of Housing & Community Development partnered with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs to review applications and designate awardees. Congratulations to the Amesbury, Beverly, Chelmsford, Fairhaven, Fitchburg, Lexington, and Lowell Housing Authorities!
