NEW CHAIRS OF JOINT COMMITTEE ON HOUSING

Committee assignments were announced last week. The Joint Committee on Housing has two new chairs and several new members. Senate Chair is Julian Cyr, representing the lower Cape & the islands. House Chair is Richard Haggerty, representing Woburn and Reading. We look forward to working with the new committee in this session. Both Chairs have been invited to speak at MassNAHRO's upcoming Legislative Advocacy Day at the State House on Wednesday, April 2. Please join us for this important day of advocacy! Invite your local legislators to attend; meet with them in their offices and ask for their support for our priorities to adequately fund your operations.
