NEW HUD RA TOURS SOMERVILLE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) New England Regional Administrator (RA) team met with Somerville Housing Authority (SHA) and City officials this week to tour several development projects showcasing the successful community partnerships reimagining their community. The SHA, City of Somerville officials, development partners POAH and Somerville Community Corporation (SCC) came together to celebrate the near completion of the first phase of the Clarendon Hill redevelopment project, which will deliver 168 homes, including 130 replacement public housing units and 38 new affordable units.
